Sweet Easter Ideas!

Easter is fast approaching and it’s a great time to start thinking about home-made and personalised gifts you can make for and with your friends and family.

I mean, Easter eggs are delicious (why does that chocolate taste so much better than regular chocolate bars?) but when you can take a traditional Easter treat and make it a little more personal, it’s always appreciated by the receiver.

On my YouTube channel MyCupcakeAddiction, there are a ton of great Easter ideas in my Easter Playlist (including the above Fully Edible Chocolate Easter Basket!), but today I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you.

My number one favourite is an oldie from my channel (excuse the amateur filming!) – The Cheesecake Easter Eggs! When you want to serve an Easter themed dessert, these are bite sized, simply stunning and a refreshing change from all that chocolate.

I used a no-bake lemon cheesecake recipe and lemon curd  to form the egg ‘whites’ and ‘yolks’ but you could use mango, passionfruit or even vanilla to achieve the same effect.

My number two favourite is one I just released – the Mini No-Bake Easter Baskets. I love these because they’re SO simple to make and you can make them with the kids, for the teachers or as table decorations.

They take only minutes to make, require no baking, and give that original home-made touch to your Easter gifts.

These Down the Bunny Hole Push Pops are a great idea and something a little different from the usual Easter fare.

The clear push pop containers allow you to see inside the bunny hole, giving the impression you can actually see the easter bunny diving down for his carrots.

And of course, my Easter playlist wouldn’t be complete without some cupcakes – it is Cupcake Addiction after all. These Easter Basket Cupcakes are from last year and are once again simple and effective.

These ones will be making their way into my toddlers daycare this year and are sure to go over well with the staff there – Click HERE if you want to see how they’re done!

These are just my favourites for the easter season – theres lots more on my YouTube channel and in that Easter Playlist if you’re still looking for some inspiration and some unique Easter sweet treat ideas.

I hope you have a fantastic Easter break and enjoy your chocolate overload!

xx Elise
