No Bake Shopkins

Shopkins have truly taken over the world! And even if you don’t think you know all about the craze, I know you’ve seen them around at Target. Whether you’re a fan or not, you can’t deny that these guys are all pretty cute. There are tons of Shopkins characters, but today I’m going to show you how to make 5 of these characters. These are my No Bake Shopkins Characters! If you want more Shopkins recipes, check out my Shopkins Cupcakes.

These characters all have a tiny details that will take your characters a long way. If you can, pay attention to these details! I used a toothpick to draw on super cute eyelashes to all these characters, and it really makes a difference!

Instructions:

Apple Blossom:

  1. Take a skewer and shove it into the top of a red apple.
  2. Colour you white candy melts so that they are light green in colour.
  3. Dip your apple into the candy melt. Then place it on a piece of parchment paper to set.

  4. Roll your pink fondant into a small worm shape. Then use a knife to create grooves into the worm. You can also use the skewer to create eyes and a mouth.shopkins-wormknife
  5. Sprinkle powdered sugar onto your bench and roll out a small piece of white, and black fondant.
  6. Cut a small circle into your white fondant. Use a knife to help create the shape of a flower blossom. Then, use a toothpick to apply a small bit of water, and add a small yellow fondant dot in the middle of the flower.shopkins-flower
  7. Cut out four small circles (2 black and 2 white) of fondant. Stack them black, white, black white. Then use a knife or a piping tip to take out a crescent moon shape from the eye so that it looks like she’s blinking.
  8. Secure the eye into place using candy melts. Use melted milk chocolate to pipe/toothpick a wink on the other side.shopkins-fondanteye
  9. Cut out some green leaves out of green fondant.shopkins-leaves
  10. Place your worm, leaves and blossom on top of the apple.
  11. Use a toothpick to pipe melted milk chocolate eyeliner her eye. Then, use pink candy melts to draw lips.shopkins-applefinal


D’lish Donut:

  1. Dip a donut into melted pink candy melts.shopkins-donutdip
  2. Precisely add your choice of sprinkles to the top of the donut.shopkins-donutsprinkles
  3. Take a spoonful of pink candy melts and spoon it onto your parchment. These will be D’lish’s feet. Stand D’lish up in in the pink candy melts, and hold the donut up until the candy sets.shopkins-donutstand
  4. Using black and white fondant, make a pair of eyes and secure them into place with melted candy melts.
  5. Use a toothpick to pipe melted milk chocolate eyeliner onto each eye. Then, use pink candy melts to draw lips.shopkins-donutfinal

Kooky Cookie

  1. Bite your Kooky Cookie (YUM!).
  2. Dollop a spoonful of pink candy melts in a heart shape onto a piece of parchment paper. Place your cookie right on top. Support until set.shopkins-cookie
  3. Using black and white fondant, make half moon eyes and secure them into place with melted candy melts.
  4. Use a toothpick to pipe melted milk chocolate eyeliner onto each eye. Then, use pink candy melts to draw lips.shopkins-cookiefinal

Cheeky Chocolate:

  1. Cut around your Cheeky Chocolate template. Cut out her hands to make them pop up when we wrap the chocolate bar.shopkins-chocbartemplate
  2. Cut off a about ¼ of the chocolate bar.
  3. Rip a piece of my parchment paper just so it looks like a ripped chocolate bar wrapper. Fold it over. Slide your Cheeky Chocolate template into the parchment paper. Trim the parchment paper, and the Cheeky Chocolate template down so that it can fit perfectly around your chocolate bar. Wrap the template and parchment paper around your chocolate and tape it into place.shopkins-chocwrapper
  4. Place melted milk chocolate into a snap seal bag. Cut off a fine corner tip. Pipe melted milk chocolate hearts onto a piece of parchment paper. Let them set, and secure them onto each of the chocolate squares.shopkins-chobarfinal

Strawberry Kiss:

  1. Cut the pointed part of the starwberry to create a flat surface.
  2. Dip the strawberry into the red colored candy melts.shopkins-strawberrydip
  3. Let stand on a piece of parchment paper
  4. Using black and white fondant, create eyes for Strawberry Kiss, and secure them on with a melted candy melts.
  5. Pipe yellow seeds above the eyes on Strawberry Kiss.
  6. Spoon melted green candy melts and make a heart shape onto a piece of parchment paper.shopkins-strawberryfinal
  7. Place Strawberry Kiss on top.
  8. Use a toothpick to pipe melted milk chocolate eyeliner onto each eye. Then, use pink candy melts to draw lips.
