Peeps are truly a staple of Easter. Whether you love them or hate them, they’re part of the holiday. Even if you don’t like to eat them, you can get creative with them! Around the Easter season, there is an annual Peep Diorama contest, and I’m LOVING this idea. My mind is already racing on what I would make if I were to make a Peep Diorama…maybe next year?
I got lost on the internet of some truly outstanding Peep Diorama entries. Oh, and the puns that come with the diorama are sooooo great. Here are just a few of my faves:
The “Peeple” v. O.J. Simpson (2017 winner)
Bob Ross’ Happy Little Peeps
By Carol Lee, Anna Mayer, and Nadja Cherbubet (2017)
Junior High “Peep-Over” 1972
By Tyna Gaylor and Maja Lee (2017)
Goodnight Peep
MaryLea Harris (2010)
Peepus Maximus
Mark Rivetti (2012)
Brides Peeps
Lisa Medici (2012)
Charlie and the Peep Factory
by Brian Schomburg and Candace Okeson (2016)
These are so cute and I’m so inspired! I have so much respect for all of these artists. What kind of Peeps dioramas would you like to see?
