It’s been a while coming, but I wanted to crete this blog as a one stop shop, where you can find all the templates, free printable cupcake wrappers and links to my hundreds of FREE online video tutorials all in the one place.

 

MyCupcakeAddiction is a YouTube channel with over 380,000 subscribers (at time of writing) and over 40 million video views! To says its become the online hub for comprehensive, free online decorating video tutorials would be an understatement.

With over 250 videos currently available, and 3 new videos being added each week, MyCupcakeAddiction is all about showing you how to decorate awesome sweet treats at home, without spending a cent!

    1. Hi Jeanette,

      The answer is.. CAREFULLY! Make sure you position them on a solid surface, such as a wooden cake board or something similar and take a little spare melted white chocolate to glue them back together if you experience any breakages. Also, try to make sure they are just slightly touching each other so they can support each other during transit – These are not the easiest cupcakes to transport – tread carefully (lol – pun intended)

  26. Hi Elise, I read your blog & watch your tutorials while in hospital recently. I’ve seen the shapers used by other artists but would love to get my hands on anything!. I haven’t baked since August 2013 or used my decorating kit either. Keep meaning to but haven’t the energy. Anyway, you need to know that it’s wonderful to hear someone “cook speak” in Australian regarding quantities etc. Thanks again for an enjoyable blog & videos.

  28. Hai Ellise. I am a fan of your work. You’ve made Cake Decorating so user friendly for a beginner like me. The way you design, the tools that you uses & the way you explain it in your videos is just amazing. I’m looking forward for you to make a Carousel Cake using simple stuff that you easily can find at any craft or decorating store. I’m from Brunei and over here decorating tools is just so limited.   30. Hi Elise, I haven’t been following you for long but I have watched every video you have made on You Tube. I work with cakes as well as sculpt and I would love to win the detail sculpting set. I have been looking for a set like that but have not been able to find a set like the one that you are giving away. I would really help me become a better artist to have a set like that.     Hi, my name is Hannah, I’am young baker and your biggest fan!! I live on a cattle farm in Australia. I have a horse called Daisy, a brown lab called Rollie, four green tree frogs named Freddo,Prince,Jewel and Harry Houdini, a turtle called Jimmy and a cockatiel named Bilbo. My hobbies include horse riding, painting, drawing, writing and of course baking!! I love to watch all of the new cakes whenever I can. My favourites would have to be the giant cup cakes, every single one of your cake pops,and well….. really every thing you have made!! I love to bake when ever I can, I have won a few country shows and love to make my own fondant characters, and some times when I get bored I practise inventing my own home made jelly, and I can say the success has been varied 😉 !! As I’m not a pro baker just yet I would like to ask a few questions…. 1. Which sort of giant cupcake case should I get, metal or silicone?
    2. How do you remove the cake from a metal and silicone giant cup case mould?
    3. When your making home made jelly how much gelatine should you use?
    4. When you started to bake cakes and cupcakes as a living were you worried you wouldn’t make enough money?
    When I’m older I really want to open a cake shop too. I really hope you can reply!!!!!
